Here are recommendations for some common HVAC equipment issues:
Check your air filter for blockage.
Turn your system off for 24 hours to defrost a frozen evaporator coil.
If the outside A/C is not running: Check your thermostat for a "cool" setting that is below your room temperature. Check the circuit breaker and make sure the furnace/air handler is plugged in. Replace thermostat batteries.
If the outside A/C is running: Check your air filter for blockage. Check for closed registers and signs of ice along the indoor/outdoor lines. You could have a frozen evaporator coil.
Check your circuit breaker and/or fuses. (Remember to turn off the circuit breaker before testing your fuses.)
